October 2010 - News

October 16th, 2010 Black Ops Airsoft held Operation: Hazardous Containment II, the second enstallment of their special Halloween Zombie event. There were over 80 registered players. Players from Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany traveled to the BOA Field to paticipate in the biggest game of the year.

September 2010 - News

September 11th, Mike Haggerty President of Western New York Airsoft and owner of Frontier Airsoft, held Operation: Fairwell to Arms. This operation was the prelude to another Operation: No Man Left Behind III, held at Ransomville, New York on the National Guard Training Facility.

August 2010 - News

On August 28th, Black Ops Airsoft held Operation: Deliberate Force. Over sizty players participated in the operation that ran from 10:00am until 6:00pm with only an hour lunch break. After the operation was completed, the majority of the players enjoyed another couple of hours of skirmish games held in the village. July 2010 - News

Black Ops Airsoft held skirmishes every weekend for the month of July. The average attendance of the skirmishes were fifty players.

Bitter Harvest

June 2010 - News

Mike Haggerty President of Western New York Airsoft and owner of Frontier Airsoft, held Operation: Bitter Harvest at Black Ops Airsoft on June 5, 2010.  Operation: Bitter Harvest II was the second installment of the continuing story the fictional country of Roshambodia and its fight for independence.

Rebel Forces fought with Corporate Forces for control of the vast poppy fields.  Players searched the woods for poppies and were able to trade the poppies in for ammo and money.  A Security Force maintained control over the village while players interacted with NPCs.

May 2010 - News

May 1, 2010 Black Ops Airsoft hosted two events at the Penn Yan field. The first event was Operation: Iron Fist. This was the first of several Operations for the 2010 season. Over forty players were in attendance for this operation.

The second event was the Annual East Coast K-9 Training Seminar. Sheriffs from all over the east coast came to the Black Ops Airsoft field to train utilizing the village and 54 acres of property.

April 2010 - News

On March 27th 2010 Black Ops Airsoft hosted their first TAS Event, a milsim game, in which two SpecOps Teams were selected to face an over whelming OpFor team.  The objectives of the teams were to find a crashed prototype UAV before the OpFor could sell the new technology to foreign governments.

 The game consisted of four separate rotations with multiple objectives during each rotation.  The game utilized new ‘hit’ rules specifically designed for this milsim game.  For more information on milsim games check out the TAS Event section of the website.s.

Operation Iron FistMay 2010 - News

March 2010 - News
Black Ops Airsoft opened the gates for the 2010 Season the first weekend of March. Skirmishes will be held every weekend. For more information on skirmishes and future events visit the message boards for more information.

Control_RoomNovember 2009 - News
The 2010 construction season has begun.  Although the field is shut down for all game play that does not mean the staff of Black Ops Airsoft is not busy improving the field for the 2010 playing season.  The first project under construction is the new Control Room.  The Control Room is completely sealed with plexiglass windows allowing spectators to view game play from a safe secured location goggle free. 

The Control Room will house the field props and field tools.  Also a new PA System is going to be installed which will be located in the Control Room.  A sound system will be wired into the PA System as well too allow sound affects to played over the PA System

As of November 8th, 2009 all games will be suspended at the Black Ops Airsoft field for the fall / winter hunting season.  After this year hunting season games will resume at the field based entirely on weather conditions.  Check the message boards for dates of games.

National_GuardOctober 2009 - News
On October 30th The Red Right Hand (Black Ops Airsoft Team) traveled to the New York National Guard Training Facility in Ransomville too attend Operation: Hazardous Containment II.  Op HC II was a continuation of the special Halloween event held at the BOA Field in Penn Yan.  The National Guard and Black Ops Airsoft worked jointly too create a two part series operation. Black Ops Airsoft would looks forward to producing more of these joint events in the future with the National Guard. BOA and all the members of the Red Right Hand would like to thank the National Guard for allowing us the chance to participate in this op.  BOA looks forward to continuing a working relationship with the Guard.

Hazardous_ContainmentOctober 2009 - News
On October 17th a special Halloween Event was held at the Penn Yan Field called Operation: Hazardous Containment.  This special event started in the late afternoon at 1:00pm and continued into the night until 11:00pm. Op Hazardous Containment premise was a terrorist group called 'The Red Right Hand" acquired biological material and long range missiles that they intended to deploy the biological material with. The National Guard was called in to stop the Red Right Hand. Read more in the After Action Report.

October 2009 - Updates
Black Ops Airsoft website has been updated. New videos and photographs have been added. The content has been changed and updated extensively. There are several new features on the site and the same useful features of the previous version.

News and Updates

September 2011

Black Ops Airsoft hosted Operation: Deliberate Force 2. The event was organized and operated by Brian Dana. This was Brian's second operation that he had organized this year at Black Ops Airsoft. There were over seventy players on the field during the operation. Thank you to all the players who traveled to the field in Penn Yan, New York to attend Operation: Deliberate Force 2. Thank you to Brian for organizing another outstanding operation.

August 2011

Black Ops Airsoft hosted skirmishes ever weekend in the month of August. The average attendance for the skirmishes was 35 players. BOA has seen a large number of new players and the return of all of our veteran players.

July 2011

Performance Hobbies from Webster New York, hosted Operation: Signho-Ri at the field in Penn Yan, New York. The operation was organized and operated by employees of Performance Hobbies, a long time sponsor of Black Ops Airsoft. Over fifty players attended this operation. Thank you to all the players who attended this operation.

June 2011

Black Ops Airsoft hosted Operation: Red Clover. The event was organized and operated by Brian Dana, a long time member of Black Ops Airsoft. The game was a huge success by all of the players and the Black Ops Airsoft Owners. Thank you to all the players that attended this operation and a special thankful to Brian Dana for running a great operation.

May 2011

Black Ops Airsoft is proud to announce the second annual K-9 Trainer Seminar held by the Yates County Sheriffs Department. Sheriffs from all across the east coast traveled to Penn Yan to attend the seminar. The sheriffs and their K9 partners visited BOA for an entire day praticing, running scenarios in the village, tracking through the woods and other training programs.

Mike Haggerty from Frontier Airsoft hosted Bitter Harvest 3 at Black Ops Airsoft. Over 100 players attended this event. Players came from Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany to attend this event.

April 2011

Black Ops Airsoft held skirmishes every weekend in the month of April. The average attendance for the skirmishes was 35 players. BOA has seen a large number of new players and the return of all of our veteran players.

March 2011

Black Ops Airsoft opened for business in the month of March. This begins BOA's third year of operation. The 2011 season will have several Operations and special TAS Events through out the year. Along with the stasndard skirmishes every weekend, BOA will also once again host a FREE skirmish and BBQ Picnic. Come on out and visit any Saturday from 9:00am - 5:00pm

February 2011

Black Ops Airsoft is proud to announce the biggest addition to the field since the creation of the village a Mobile on Site Maintenance and Repair Shop owned and operated by Black Ops Airsoft. The mobile workshop is designed and built for the sole purpose of maintaining and repairing airsoft guns and accessories. The shop will have all the parts in stock needed to do repairs on site to keep our players in the game. We will be able to upgrade and also downgrade guns at the field to meet our players needs
