Games

The following is a short list of typical games held at Black Ops Airsoft. These are not the only games played during skirmishes only a short list of some of the more popular.

Elimination:

Players are divided into teams and begin from opposite ends of the game area. The objective of the game is to eliminate each player of the other teams. This game is a classic and typically is a nice way to start the day out by getting the blood flowing and loosing the muscles.

One Touch Medic:

Every player on the field is considered a 'medic'. If a player is hit they are considered 'wounded' and can not move or shoot their weapon. They can call for a medic. In order to 'medic' another player the medic player must touch the other wounded player for specified duration. (The time varies from game to game depending on number of players and the skill level of players at the event.)

Defend The Armory:

One Third of the players are placed inside of the armory (a multi-room / multiple floor building) and must hold it against attack from the other two thirds of the players for thirty minutes. Both teams have medics. For either team to win the other side must be eliminated so no players are 'alive' to medic the other members of their team.

Search and Destroy:

Players are divided into equal teams. While the teams are staging a prop is hidden with in the game area. The teams objective is to locate the target, retrieve it, and transport back to their starting location. The second objective is to destroy the other teams, preventing them from capturing the target.

Defending The Assets:

One group of players are left inside of town defending several assets everything ranging from a specific building to numerous props on the field. The objective of this group is maintain control of the village and their assets. The other teams are staged outside of town and given a specific asset that they are to destroy or capture.

Capture:

Players are divided into equal teams and sent to their staging areas. Each team chooses a specific person from one of the other teams to capture. In order to capture the opposing player that the team chose, a member of the team must 'medic' the wounded player. Once the player has been medic'ed then they are considered captured. The captured player must walk with the other team's player back to their staging area.

Hogan's Alley:

A nice cool down game typically played at the end of the day is Hogan's Alley. A small number of players (two or three) are moved outside of the village. The remainder of the players hide within the village and buildings. Some of these concealed players are armed while others are not. The players outside of the village must clear each building through out the village without harming any unarmed players. An armed player must stand fully visible with their weapon raised presenting a clear threat. If the incoming players do not see the armed player after five seconds then the armed player may shoot the other player.
