BLACK OPS AIRSOFT: Operations

Operations are large scale games with a story line and based around a centralized theme. Vietnam was the 2009 seasonal theme.  Each operation is divided up into several ‘rotations’ during which the players are given a list of objectives to attempt to complete.  Operation Objectives tend to be a bit more complicated than standard skirmish objectives.  Also during ops the players will be involved with the use of numerous props, including disarming a bomb or transport a mobile SAM site and many others.

Operations involve more props and detailed objective style of game play.  Also the number of attendants is greatly increased over a skirm.  Because the number of players is larger than a skirm, the entire field is in play, all the bases, the village and the entire wood line

Although some operations may share the same story line each op is a stand alone game and no player will feel confused or penalized for attending any previous operations.  Not all ops will share any connection from one to another.

In order to attend any operation a player just has too show up to the field in order to participate.  Each operation will be posted on the forum and any player who would like to attend can just reply to the post announcing that they are coming.  All the rules and special instructions will be posted on the forum as well.  There will also be a section on the website where you will be too keep up to date with the operations.
