2011 Season

Operation: RED CLOVER

Backround:
Operation Red Clover is a gruesome conflict between two factions: The Carpathian Army (Tan Team) and The Kurtz Rebels (Green Team). In order to survive, each faction has been fighting to achieve a tactical and resource advantage. A particular spot of land located just outside of Penn Yan, NY has seen the heaviest action due to its potential in providing these advantages to the factions. This area was first settled by the Carpathian Army, where they have now built the town of Gunville. When The Kurtz Rebels learned of the potential of this area, they immediately created an extensive FOB they deemed “Red Clover”. Each faction desperately needs the fuel resources offered at the near by fuel depot, and also the control of hill 12, which serves mainly as a tactical vantage point in the area. However, both factions understand that a territory war would end in a blood bath so each is actively looking for Intel that could give them the upper hand in the battle.

Teams:
Teams will be Green and Tan which will be designated by a green or tan Shemahg (available at BOA LLC supply trailer).

Players should be dressed to the best of their ability in the appropriate color.

Operation: SIGNHO - RI

Backround:
It is 2016 North Korea has invaded South Korea and defeated most of the remaining U.S. forces stationed there. The United States is heavily involved in the war between Europe and Russia and can spare no more manpower to reclaim South Korea. The small amount of marines left behind to ensure a safe retreat of all South Koreans and U.S. citizens have been pushed to the southern tip of South Korea in a small town called Songho-Ri about twenty miles from the sea. In the face of overwhelming odds the marines here are determined to defend the town and the small outpost on the hill overlooking the village to the death or until evac arrives. As well as evacuating the ramaining high priority individuals still in the village. Highly outnumbered the marines will need to conduct numerous missions throughout the day to stay in the fight and make it alive till the helos arrive.


Teams:

MARINES
You will be outnumbered by 2-1 to 3-1 depending on amount of attendees. you will be given control of the fuel depot, village, and bunker hill. You must not lose the hill, this is your evac zone so make sure this area is heavily defended if anyone has a heavy weapon they would like to emplace in one of the fox holes on the hill for defensive purposes you are more than welcome. You will be broken up into squads of 5. each squad will be given postions to defend and objectives to complete throughout the day. Your squad leader will need to have his/her radio tuned to the set frequency of marine opcom to recieve orders.

NORTH KOREANS
You will have supperior numbers but will have to start at the staging area from the beggining and move deeper into the feild capturing points and completeing objectives as your go. Your endgame is to have wiped out all american forces and taken all positions. But in order to do so you will need to focus on certain areas to gain vital resupply points. Squads for the NK forces will be 6-10. Basically branch off into large but controlable assualt squads. Each group will need to stay with together and have a leader with a radio and map. The radio for each Korean squad will be linked to NK opcom to recieve orders.

Uniforms:
Marines will be tan based ie: desert marpat, multicam, chocolate chip etc.
Korean forces will be green/black based ie: old style woodland, acu, woodland marpat etc

Operation: DELIBERATE FORCE 2

Backround:
1994: PREVIOUS CONFLICT (OP of 2010)
During the Bosnian War, an international armed conflict that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina between March 1992 and November 1995, the Army of the Republika Srpska (also referred to as the Bosnian Serb Army or BSA) attempted to set up artillery strongholds on the outskirts of the village of Seville.  It was during this time that the UN had set up ‘Safe Areas’ (SA’s) and ‘Heavy Weapon Exclusion Zones’ (EZ’s) in and most cities, towns and small villages through the area.  The UN, in response to the breach of the Heavy Weapon Exclusion Zones, launched air and artillery strikes to destroy any heavy weapons and any remaining BSA Aforces in the area.

In retalliation to the embarrassing defeat near Seville the BSA disregarded the UN mandates regarding the SA’s and EZ’s and began moving troops and artillery through the SA’s and EZ’s surround a small village outside of Sarajevo. 

1995:
After the UNs’ attempts to maintain control in the area had failed, a large window opened for new and upcoming factions to come to power. Shortly after the UN’s retreat from the area, a group known only as Eagle Talon moved into the area. Not much is known about eagle talon other than they are a band of local, highly funded (the donor has remained untraceable), highly skilled militia. They are a formidable adversary to any governmental army.

So now the struggle continues to gain an immense tactical advantage by controlling artillery capabilities in the area.

Operation:HAZARDOUS CONTAINMENT 3

Backround:
Background: October 2009

In 2009 an extremist militant group named the Red Right Hand and government special forces clashed over a crashed satellite and the nuclear core that powered the satellite.  The Red Right Hand wanted to use the radioactive material to mutate a harmless neurotoxin virus into a biological weapon.  The Red Right Had was successful in obtaining the radioactive material and using it to create a biological weapon.  Three long range ballistic missiles were armed with this new biological weapon.  The Spec Ops Team that failed earlier in preventing the Red Right Hand from creating a biological weapon was finally successful in destroying the three long range missiles.

The top leaders of the Red Right Hand and their surviving soldiers fled back to their compound where they were creating more of the virus.  Many of the men who were near the missiles when they were destroyed were infected with the virus but did not know.  When the leaders returned to their military compound the infected soldiers began to show signs of the infection.  it wasn't long before the entire compound was infected except for the leaders and small band of loyal soldiers.

When the government arrived at the compound to eliminate the remaining Red Right Hand members they were surprised to find that the compound was abandoned except for the infected soldiers.  The infected wandered around the compound in search of something.  It wasn't until first contact with the infected that the special forces team understood what the infected were searching for.  Human flesh.  The infected fell on the first soldiers to enter the camp who entered the camp thinking they could help the infected.  The infected swarmed over the soldiers.  One soldier was able to radio back and ordered a bombing run, hoping to eliminate all of the infected and the virus at the same time.  There were no survivors.

Background: October 2010

In 2010 the government established a quarantine zone, named Sector Z, around the Red Right Hand compound.  A second quarantine zone was set up encompassing Sector Z.  This section of the quarantine zone is patrolled by the military.  They eliminate any infected hostiles that manage to make pass the first quarantine zone.  the government set up a research facility using the existing buildings from the Red Right Hand compound in an attempt to find a cure to the virus.  In less than a year the original virus mutated and became air born.  Hundreds were infected before the researchers figured out what had happened.  A machine was built to filter the virus from the air and destroy the virus. 

The Red Right Hand leaders who narrowly escaped in 2009 from the government raid but also being infected by the virus that they had created, learned that the government was close to discovering a cure to their virus.  The leaders decided to attack the research facility and steal the cure to the virus or destroy it.  During the assault of the facility the machine that kept the air born virus from infecting everyone was knocked off line.  Multiple members of both sides were infected with the virus.  The infected hostiles turned on friend and foe and began killing everyone in a vicinity. The Red Right Hand and the research facility security forces joined together in an attempt to bring the computer and the machine back online and destroy the air born virus, before it escaped the containment zone.

The two groups joined forces against the infected and were able to bring the computer and machine back on line before the virus spread through out the entire region. Although they were successful in bringing the machine back on line, the number of casulaties was staggering. The majority of each force had become infected. The infected were able to swarm the remaining non-infected humans and break out of the first containment zone. The number of infected grows at an alarming rate.

News and Updates

January 2012

Black Ops Airsoft held two skirmishes this month. With tempatures in the single digits and a wind chill approaching zero over thirty players showed up for the first skirmish. The second skirmish was held a few weeks later and the weather was dramatically different. Tempatures were in the upper forties and no snow in sight. Over forty players braved the weather and came out for the second offical winter skirm.

February 2012

Black Ops Airsoft hosted one skirmish during the month of February. Weather was typical for this month, mid twenties and light snow through out the day. Over twenty players participated in the last winter skirmish of the year.

March 2012

Black Ops Airsoft will be opening the gates for the 2012 season on March 3rd.
