The 2010 Season will be the second for Black Ops Airsoft.

2010 Season

Iron FistOperation: Iron Fist

Operation: Iron Fist is a yearly competition between US and NATO forces that allows each side to practice maneuvering against the elite units of the alliance.  The scenarios are designed to test a forces ability to work as a cohesive force by attacking or defending multiple targets.  Communication and coordination are considered paramount for success.

Game Style:

Force vs. Force
Action (80%) / MilSim (20%)

Background:

Each team will have one main re-spawn location and base of operations.  This a safe area and can not be attacked or captured by the opposing team.

Located in the play area are four valued targets that each force is required to capture, hold and defend. The team in control of the valued target must raise their team flag to designate they are in control of that objective. Six times during each rotation Op-Com will check each of the four locations too see what team has control over the targets.  Five points per location will be awarded to the team whose flag is raised during the time check.

If a team has control of a location but fails to raise their team flag and leaves the opposing teams flag raised, the opposing team will get the points.

Both sides are still looking for poppies in a new area of Roshambodia, the Verde plateau. The new face of the corporation is ASA (Associated Securities Asia) the subsidiary of the ASE(Associated Securities Europe) Who were held accountable for the ruin of many small townships in Roshabodia. They have many open contracts looking for badies to help fill the openings from 2 years ago.

Operation Hazardous Containment 2Operation Hazardous Containment

October 16th 2010

Backround:
One year ago a rebel group known as the Red Right Hand, based in Penn Yan, began making a dirty bomb to destroy a nearby land known as Hunters Creek. The US Government caught wind of this and sent the Special Forces to deal with the situation.

The battle was rough for the US Forces, they greatly underestimated the Red Right Hand and their troops and lost many soldiers. But the SF fought through and managed to obtain the Nuclear Core used to create the dirty bombs, only to realize that the Red Right Hand had already extracted the core and began producing hazardous chemicals. In fact the Red Right Hand had already armed 3 missiles that were to be launched from a nearby hill. The missile platform made it to the hill but was destroyed by a brave US soldier giving his life to destroy the vehicle before the launch could happen.

The SF gathered for one last assault on the make shift village to stop the production and capture the 3 leaders of the Red Right Hand. In doing so the chemical containers were compromised and leaked into the village. The vapors seeped through the village causing some of the Red Right Hand members and militia to go through some metamorphosis that made the host hunger for human flesh.

The rest of the Red Right Hand members and Militia joined up with the SF knowing that the antidote was someplace in the village. The battle raged and squad after squad of soldiers entered the village in search of the antidote. Few returned from each attempt and eventually in one last attempt they assaulted. Brave soldiers they were but they fell to these morphed beings they called… Zombies. Before the last soldier went down an air strike was called in. The Air Force dropped a fuel air bomb onto the village thinking it would vaporize the Zombies and the hazardous chemical.

They were wrong…..

The site of the battle was cordoned off by the US military and is being used as a research center for studying the virus. A few brave souls from the surrounding area have made it into the site now called Sector Z by the locals. Why these people entered the area is unknown. Maybe no one believed the rumors or they wanted to see what the military was keeping so secret. It is unknown exactly how many people entered the area but what is known is none of them have returned.

After months of study, the scientists have been able to isolate the zombie causing strand within the virus. Preparations have begun to create vaccines and start the clean-up of the infected area. The reality of what the scientist are up against was leaked when a local kid sent a remote controlled plane with video over Sector-Z showing one of the scientists being brought down by 4 zombies, how the zombies were created is still unknown when there were no zombies in Sector-Z to begin. This video portrays the severity of the situation if the virus was ever released.

On the morning of October 16 2010 the US Special Forces and scientists started the day like any other day when battling a deadly virus. The ground shakes from a distant explosion. Word comes in that outer walls have been breached and an Army of soldiers have started making their way through. A snap shot from video shows the leaders of the RRH in the background. Why are they back?
