The Red Right Hand, a band of mercenaries, intent on the destruction of rival mercenaries obtained biological weapons from an unknown source. Though the material was hazardous on its own, the Red Right Hand had more sinister plans for this material. On Friday October 16th a Russian Satellite fell out of orbit and landed in a remote section of wilderness. The satellite contained radioactive core. This core would allow the Red Right Hand to mutate the biological material into something far worse than what it already was.

At 1:00 pm on Saturday October 17th the United States Military was deployed to the crash site of the satellite. A fire fight broke out between the military and the Red Right Hand who had hired a militia to bolster their ranks. The fighting was intense through out the woods. Eventually the military was able to capture the satellite core from the Red Right Hand.

Once they secured the satellite, specialists were sent in to open it and retrieve the radioactive core. It was during this time that the military learned that the RRH had already retrieved the core and had extracted the radioactive material. The fire fights were only to delay the military while three long range rockets were loaded and transported from a secrete location in the woods to the wide open field.

Using intelligence the military learned where the Red Right Hand was intending to launch the missiles from. The groups of soldiers already in the area were issued orders to destroy the long range missiles and the transport vehicle. Meeting heavy resistance the Red Right Hand launched one missile from inside of the thick wood cover. The missile launched flawlessly but was struck by small arms fire and veered off course detonating far out to sea.

The Red Right Hand and their hired militants pushed through the military forces and entered the open field. A second missile was program to launch but its firing mechanism was destroyed before it could launch from the transport vehicle. Before the third and final long range missile could be launched a U.S. Soldier sacrificed himself by making a suicide rush to the vehicle destroying all the missiles and remaining soldiers.

Although the U.S. Military thwarted the Red Right Hand’s attempt at launching three long range missiles at their rivals they could not have begun to comprehend the devastation that the RRH had already left behind.  In the secrete facility located in the woods the Red Right Hand had allowed the mutated biological material to escape from quarantine. The released mutated biological material resulted in the infection of several Red Right Hand members.  These infected people exhibited what the military later would classify as ‘walking dead syndrome’.  Though the infected people were clearly alive their mental faculties were reduced to primal instinct.  Fight and Feed.

Alpha squad was the first to learn of the walking dead.  They entered the village in a covert attempt to locate any RRH survivors.  What they found instead (by the accounts of the only remaining survivor of Alpha Squad) was a man trapted inside of a cage.  Through sicken gasps he told the squad to leave the village but they did not head his warning.  As they attempted to move the man the squad was besieged by two walking dead.  The lone survivor of Alpha Squad fled from the village to report what he saw. Squad after squad entered the village.  Each time meeting their friends that had been turned into the walking dead.  A small group of one squad became trapped on a second story building.  They watched in horror as the walking dead shambled around devouring their comrades. 

Believing that the Red Right Hand would have created a cure for their weapon before they unleashed it, the military teamed with the surviving hired militia and invaded the village.  The cure was found hidden in one of the buildings.  They transported the cure out of the infected village.  Orders came to capture one of the walking dead.  They military believed that they had reproduced the cure and needed a test subject.  A squad was sent into the village to capture one of the walking dead.  They transported the infected out on a stretcher back to base camp.  The test subject responded to the treatment and so the military decided to move in force on the village and secure it, so that they could issue the treatment to everyone.

It was during this assault that the infection mutated again into something different.  Instead of a large group of shambling walking dead, the infected turned into a large hostile mob.  They came running and screaming out of the darkness and crashed into the military.  In a matter of moments the military force was over run.  A final cry over the radio screamed for a air strike. 

The Air Force launched several planes and bombed the village hoping that the intense heat would destroy any of the infected material.  Later intelligence reported that the outbreak in the region was contained but the three leaders of the Red Right Hand had escaped with a small amount of the mutate material and two short range weapons.  It is believed that they are continuing with their original plans.
